Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs) can be a very traumatic event, physically, emotionally and otherwise. In late 2010, The Urban Athlete began accepting MVA cases based on demand. After numerous calls from our current clientele, and via kind referrals, it was expressed to us that people were looking for the same quality of care in their MVA treatments as they would otherwise receive from us at Urban Athlete, that which they were not receiving from other so-called MVA clinics.
Since we began accepting MVAs at The Urban Athlete, it has been our intent to provide the best and most immediate care for our patients following an MVA so that their life can get back to normal as soon as possible. It has always been our goal to provide quality, patient-centered care. Our facility lends itself very nicely to any chiropractic, acupuncture, physiotherapy, massage, or rehabilitation that you may require following an accident.
Every insured driver in Ontario is pre-approved for some treatment coverage following an accident, whether at fault or not. This was implemented to encourage immediate treatment as the frequency of chronic pain cases following MVAs was on the rise.
